My name is Gary Werchan, and I am the owner of GPW Tax Services. I am an Enrolled Agent, which means I am credentialed by the IRS to prepare any type of US tax returns and represent taxpayers in dealings with the IRS in all 50 states.
My practice primarily serves clients in Eastern Nebraska and in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. I am available for face-to-face and telephone appointments in both regions.
I take a detail-oriented and methodical approach to preparing each tax return, aiming to maximize deductions and credits legally available to my clients. GPW Tax Services will remain a small agency, allowing me to provide an exceptional client experience through diligent expertise and personal attentive service. I look forward to applying my knowledge and skills to provide tax preparation, planning, and representation that saves my clients time, money, and headaches when it comes to their taxes.
A little about me personally – my wife and I enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants, spending time with family, and British detective television shows. Except during tax season or course!
An enrolled agent is a tax expert who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, either by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test, or through experience as a former IRS employee.
Tax professionals who attain this elite status must adhere to strict ethical standards, and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
While most tax preparers may only represent certain taxpayers in strictly limited situations, enrolled agents are authorized by the IRS to represent any taxpayer about any tax matter.
Don’t go before the IRS alone. If you or your business is facing a tax audit or other IRS difficulty, our enrolled agents can help.
